Northwest Territory: 3 Cent Red Violet. Commemorates 150th Annivesary of establishment of the territory. Shows map and portraits of Manasseh Cutler and Rufus Putnam. Virginia Dare and Parents: 5 Cent Gray Blue. Commemorates 350th Anniversary of 1st English child born in America and 1st attempted English settlement in America, at Roanoke Island, North Carolina. Adoption of the Constitution: 3 Cent Bright Red Violet. Issued on the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution at Independence Hall in Philadelphia in 1787. Statue of Kamehameha I: 3 Cent Violet. This stamp pictures the statue in Honolulu, Hawaii of King Kamehameha I, who first united the Hawaiian Islands. Mt. McKinley: 3 Cent Violet. Commemorated the development of the Alaska Territory and pictures the highest mountain in North America. La Fortaleza, Puerto Rico: 3 Cent Bright Violet. In honor of the Territory of Puerto Rico, this 3 cent stamp shows a reproduction of the old Governor's Palace known as La Fortaleza. Charlotte Amalie Harbor: 3 Cent Light Violet.
